Company Description
REX & Co. is a real estate investment company and a home finance company with a revolutionary new product that connects homeowners with institutional equity investors. Historically innovation in home finance has always been around interest changes and payments. REX & Co. has eliminated both.
For the first time ever, homeowners and home buyers have access to an enormous pool of capital with no debt to serve. Debt free liquidity enables homeowners to improve their lives in many ways they never thought possible. Debt free financing empowers home buyers to buy the right property and take-on responsible debt.
Most homeowners are overexposed to one highly leveraged real estate asset: their homes. On the other side, institutional investors have no exposure to owner-occupied, single-family residential real estate equity despite this being the largest asset class in the world (and over $20 trillion in the US alone).
Through an innovative home finance product called a REX Agreement, REX & Co. enables homeowners and home buyers to sell up to 50% of their real estate exposure in exchange for cash today that can be used for any purpose. The money is tax deferred and does not bear interest. When they sell the home or choose to buy-back the REX Agreement, REX & Co. shares its percentage interest of the appreciation or depreciation of the property.
REX & Co. is poised to have a tremendous impact on several large segments of consumers including:
• Home buyers
• Homeowners
• Those financing major asset purchases (e.g., long-term care insurance policies, university tuition, etc.)
