Primary Job Responsibilities:

The Testing Sr. Capacity Manager will oversee the test spectrum ensuring that all tests conducted on the eBay platform are de-conflicted. Manage the applications that will monitor and allocate the impressions and users selected for testing. Additionally, the Testing Capacity Manager will work with the Test Manager to ensure synergies exist between the testing roadmap and testing inventory.

This role involves understanding such factors as business impact, prioritization, time-to-market, etc. and synthesizing them into the testing roadmap. Areas of focus are:

•Manage and the analytics testing applications: o   Be the focal point for implementation, communication and coordination of the testing inventory (pre and post test) and it relates to the testing roadmap o   Identify and design new processes that may be required, using and adapting existing processes where possible

Skill Requirements:

•Strong background in project/program management, business systems analysis and process engineering skills, including knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques: o   Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as critical tests evolve o   Perform and understand cost/Benefit analysis, and trade-offs for an issue, project, etc. o   Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

•Ability to communicate verbally and in writing complex design, technical, business and product issues clearly and succinctly. •Ability to work well with varying levels of management •People management experience preferred •Experience and comfort working on global projects •Need 8 or more years experience in a technical management role •BS degree in a technology-related field and MBA are highly preferred. Experience in the e-commerce industry is preferred. •Proficient in PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel, SQL •Ideally, have testing and/or quantitative analytics background
