Jobs and Opportunities
"Bringing Business to Life!" - UC Davis
Hi SEA'ers! This is an event Denise (my SEA classmate), Betty (my fraternity, AKPsi), and I (Pure Web Applications) are putting together. It's to show UCD students how fun business it can be and what it entails. Dave Chamberlain and Chad Morris will be speakers. Many board members will be helping judge the short business game competition! Call me: 714.262.8066 or steven.loi@purewebapps.com if you want more details about this! - Steve --- Myth #1: You need to be a business major to have a business career. Myth #2: All successful business leaders followed the same path. Myth #3: Campus events are not fun! "Bringing Business to Life" is a free, introductory business event open to all students with an interest in business and entrepreneurship. Hosted by UC Davis' Alpha Kappa Psi and International Business Association along with the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, the event features a business game - an interactive competition among students to creatively solve business situations with feedback from successful Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy board members! You get to: * Analyze situations from a business perspective. * Learn the advantages of being an entrepreneur. * Discover campus resources to enhance your business acumen. Also, hear from successful entrepreneurs from the SEA about their experiences in the entrepreneurial world. May 31, 2007 6:45pm - 8:30pm (refreshments provided) Silo Cabernet (2nd floor, Silo) Free Registration (required -- ) Click to Open Web Page An entrepreneur doesn't confine you to just being a business major! All majors welcome! For questions, please contact: Betty Shiao (bettyshiao@gmail.com) or Denise Tong (deetong@gmail.com). "Bringing Business to Life" is generously sponsored by: AKPsi, IBA, SEA, Pure Web Applications |
